Privacy Policy

How Dewpoint LLC collects, uses, protects, and shares information from website visitors, CRM users, clients, and service requests.

Last updated September 3, 2026

Legal review recommended. This policy is intended to explain Dewpoint LLC's privacy practices in plain language. It should be reviewed by counsel before use as legal advice or a final compliance document.

1. Who we are

Dewpoint LLC provides irrigation, landscaping, hardscape, planting, lawn care, pruning, maintenance, membership, and related outdoor services in the Portland metro area and the Willamette Valley. Our website is dewpoint.online and our client portal is hosted at hub.dewpoint.online.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you request a quote, contact us, book service, sign up for a membership, approve work, pay invoices, save payment methods, or use the client portal. This may include your name, email address, phone number, service address, billing address, project notes, property details, photos, preferred services, appointment details, invoice history, approvals, and communications with Dewpoint.

We may also collect technical information from the website and CRM, such as device type, browser type, referring page, pages viewed, form activity, approximate location from IP address, timestamps, and security logs. This helps us operate the site, improve service, diagnose errors, and protect the CRM.

3. Payment information

Payments and saved payment methods are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Dewpoint does not store full card numbers on its own servers. We may store payment status, customer IDs, transaction IDs, invoice IDs, subscription status, and limited payment method details returned by the payment provider.

4. How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, prepare estimates, schedule visits, perform work, document job conditions, manage memberships, issue invoices, collect payment, provide service updates, send receipts, maintain customer records, improve the website and CRM, detect fraud or misuse, comply with legal requirements, and protect Dewpoint's rights.

5. Photos, notes, and property records

We may keep job photos, irrigation notes, site observations, measurements, maps, and before-and-after records to plan work, document conditions, support warranty decisions, explain recommendations, and maintain service history. We do not sell these records.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the business and provide services. This may include payment processors, CRM and hosting providers, email and SMS providers, subcontractors, licensed backflow testers, insurers, accountants, legal advisors, collection providers, and government or regulatory authorities when required.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website and CRM may use cookies, local storage, analytics, security logs, and similar technologies to remember preferences, support dark mode, maintain sessions, measure site performance, understand service interest, and protect forms from misuse. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some site or portal features may not work correctly.

8. Communications

By contacting Dewpoint, using the CRM, requesting work, or becoming a customer, you agree that we may contact you about estimates, scheduling, approvals, invoices, payments, memberships, service updates, and related account matters by email, phone, text message, or portal message. You may opt out of marketing messages, but service and account communications may still be sent.

9. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for service history, warranty records, accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, tax records, insurance, and business operations. We may delete or archive information when it is no longer needed.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No website, CRM, email account, payment system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for service.

11. Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may need to retain certain records for legal, accounting, contract, warranty, insurance, or legitimate business reasons. You may also request that we update communication preferences or remove a saved payment method where supported by the payment provider.

12. Children

Our services are intended for property owners, tenants, managers, and adult decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, website, CRM, or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top of this page shows the current version.

14. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy may be sent to kyle@dewpoint.online or by calling (971) 278-4323.
